A retail prototype designed to turn an empty shophouse into a tangible possibility.
Created as a commercial show unit for a property developer, the space demonstrates how a standard shophouse can be transformed into an engaging retail environment. The interior is imagined as a lifestyle and craft store, allowing prospective tenants to experience the scale, circulation, display potential, and commercial character of the unit beyond its empty shell.
Warm timber is paired with playful colours, patterned surfaces, and a variety of integrated display systems to create a space that feels approachable yet visually distinctive. Pegboards, open shelving, hanging rails, modular displays, and built-in cabinetry accommodate different product types while maintaining a cohesive visual language.
Rather than simply presenting a finished interior, the project acts as a spatial showcase of possibilities—helping potential buyers and tenants envision how the shophouse could support different retail experiences and identities.
