Living small does not have to mean living with less—it means making space more intentional.

MICRO HOUSE explores how a limited footprint can still accommodate different rhythms of living, working, resting, and gathering. Rather than expanding outward, the house uses its vertical volume to create layered functions, with a mezzanine workspace overlooking the main living area below.

Large openings, double-height spaces, and direct connections to the garden bring daylight and visual depth into the interior, helping the compact house feel more open than its physical size suggests. Built-in storage and carefully integrated furniture reduce visual clutter, while warm timber, soft colours, and playful accents give the space a more personal and expressive character.

The exterior maintains a simple, recognisable house silhouette, while translucent surfaces, glass blocks, lightweight structures, and surrounding landscape soften the boundary between inside and outside.

The result is a small house that does not feel restrictive—where efficiency, flexibility, and character are carefully layered within a compact footprint.
